Rose Peets was born on May 12, 1902 in Moores Forks, New York. [1] She was the daughter and eldest child of Benjamin Pitre and Justine Vivier[2]
Rose married Andrew Miller on September 7 , 1921 at St. Alphonsus Church in Tupper Lake. New York. [3] Rose and Andrew were married for for 53 years before Andrew passed away in 1974. During that time they had 8 children: Thomas, Amos, Beatrice, Rita, Eva, Beulah and the twins Clifford and Alfred. [4]
Rose Peets died on December 23, 1977 in Tupper Lake, New York and was buried in St. Alphonsus Cemetery also in Tupper Lake[5][6]

Also by four sons, Thomas, Amos, Clifford and Alfred all of Tupper Lake; one brother, Joseph Peets of Tupper Lake; three sisters, Mrs. Lavina Pharand of Masson, Que., Mrs. Malvina Willette of Tupper Lake and Gertrude (Mrs. Henry) LaBarge of Tupper Lake; and by 30 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. Calling hours were at the Richer Funeral Home. The funeral mass was said on Monday at St. Alphonsus Church. Burial will be in St. Alphonsus Cemetery in the spring
