Biography

William H. Pell was the son of Henry Pell and Sarah Williams. He was born around 1800 in Virginia. He married Mary Jessup (possibly the daughter of Joseph Jessup and Betty McKinney) on January 2, 1828 in Stokes County, North Carolina. Their children included:

James Joseph, b @ 1830
Thompson, b @ 1832
William Henry, b @ 1836
Elijah, b @ 1837
Sarah A "Sallie", b @ 1842

Research Notes

William wrote a will and his executors were his sons, William and Elijah. If someone can locate his will, we can ID the other children.
