He was a carpenter when he and Marie appeared on the census of 28 June 1900 at St. Martinville, St. Martin Parish, Louisiana.[3] He was a carpenter when he and Marie appeared on the census of 26 April 1910 at Patterson, St. Mary Parish, Louisiana.[4] He was a carpenter when he and Marie appeared on the census of 17 Feb. 1920 at Calcasieu Parish, Louisiana.[5]
Joseph died on 3 May 1921 at New Orleans, Louisiana, at age 48.[6]
