Biography

AGOPSOWICZ, Marcelline Verna (nee Pelletier) It is with much sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, grandmother and great grandmother at the age of 68 years with her family by her side. She was born in Regina on June 21, 1941 and her hometown was Lestock, SK. She was predeceased by her mother Josephine Pelletier. She is survived by her loving husband Andrew Agopsowicz; father Morris Poitras; children Lisa Ficzel (David), Sharon Hoedel (Doyle), Sandra Pelletier (Ron), Deborah Agopsowicz (Brandon), Tanis Agopsowicz-Hayward (Sean), Darwin Le Joure (Tanya), along with Brian Agopsowicz (Rose), Sandra Blair (Bill), Sharon Agopsowicz (Carol); cousin and close friend Evelyn Sayer (Hongie); as well as numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, relatives and extended family. Most people go through life without ever leaving any footprints, most people go through life without ever making a difference, most people go through life without ever leaving a legacy, but this is not the case with our Mother. Our Mother in the face of adversity has done all of these things. Our Mother is a history maker and a world changer. She has positively touched the lives of many children, grandchildren and friends too many to count. If a person's like is measured by the footprints they leave, the difference they make and the legacy they leave, then what a remarkable woman our Mother truly was!
