Biography

1776 Project
Jacques Pelletier performed Patriotic Service in the American Revolution.

Jacques was born around 1720 in Nouvelle France the son of Charles Pelletier and Marie Barbe St-Pierre.

He married on the 7 Aug 1747 at Ste-Anne-de-la-Pocatière in Kamouraska, Nouvelle France to Madeleine Marie Anne Roy, the daughter of Augustin Roy and Jeanne Boucher.

He past away in 1788 at about the age of 68 in St-Roch des Aulnaies, Quebec.

He was deprived of Lieutenant of militia for having executed rebels orders. [1]

Pelletier-1462 and Pelletier-933 appear to represent the same person because: These two are the same profile and need to be merged. The PRDH-IGD Records list birth about 1720 and there. Is no mention of a Michel. Records indicated Jacques as the only name.
