John Pember, the history of the Pember family in America. Springfield, Vermont by Celeste Pember Hazen apparently contains extended information on the family. It was published by Hazen in 1939 and is not digitized. See WorldCat for libraries with a copy.

Daniel, son of John and Tabitha is referred to as Jr. to distinguish him from his uncle Daniel, who was also residing in Stafford, CT.[10]
