Karen Pendergrass
There was a Raleigh Pendergrass mentioned four times in Revoutionary records, twice on muster rolls near no one familiar, once on a pay voucher someone else cased, and once in a land grant to his unnamed heirs. Raleigh enlisted from Duplin County, NC, nowhere near Sandy Creek, and died of the flu in 1781 while in the continental line. There is no known connection between him and ANY other Pendergrass family.
