Biography

Daughter of Bynon Johns Pengra, who, as Surveyor General of Oregon, surveyed the first military road over Willamette Pass. The station of Pengra, Oregon, on the Willamette, and Pengra Pass, now Odell Lake, were named for her father.

From 1880 until her death she lived in Oakridge, Lane, Oregon.
