Biography
Greensville was born in Virginia in 1810. He is the son of Gabriel Stovall Penn and Jane Clark. In 1836 Greensville married Henrietta Cardwell and together they were parents of eight children. He was a prosperous “farmer” who moved his family westward. They settled in Alabama for many years and then moved on to Fayette, Texas where Greensville passed away in 1873 at age 63.
