Biography

Mary A. Penn was born on 10 January 1865, in Pennsylvania, to Samuel Able Penn and Sarah A (unknown family name). ^{[1] [2]}

In 1880, she was living with her parents and siblings on Tacony Street, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She was a cartridge maker. ^[2]

She married Harry [or Henry?] A Headley, about 1883/1884. ^[1] They apparently had ten children, including: ^{[2] [3] [4]}

On 17 October 1939, she died, in Philadelphia General Hospital, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, of cerebral arteriosclerosis and diabetes mellitus. On 20 October 1939, she was buried, in Forest Hills Cemetery, Huntingdon Valley, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, in section Memorial "B", lot 281, with her husband and his two children from his first marriage. ^{[1] [7] [8] [9]}
