Biography

Frances Penn was born between 1754 and 1756, in St George's Parish, Spotsylvania County, Virginia, a daughter of Joseph Penn and Mary Taylor. [1] On August 5, 1771, in Granville county, North Carolina, Frances married John Hunt. [2]

Private John Hunt was born March 12, 1752, in Granville county, North Carolina, where he served as a Private in the Militia, during the American Revolutionary War and is Daughters of the American Revolution Ancestor #A060241. DAR records indicate that John died May 12, 1818, in Granville county, N.C. [3]
