Name: George Penn
Date: 5 Mar 1727
Location: King and Queen Co., VA
Property: 614 acres on a branch running into Mattapony River, otherwise called Warner's River.

He passed away in Caroline, Virginia Colony in 1749. His will was presented in court by his wife Ann (Fleming) Penn who served as his executrix [2]

George's wife was named Anne but last name unknown. George bought land 28 September 1728, in Spotsylvania County, Virginia. He is also listed in several land deeds in the same county in 1734 and in 1746. His Will was destroyed but record of it in court on 8 September 1749. He is believed to have died in Caroline County. His widow, Ann (???) Penn Dudley, names five children in her Will dated 5 May 1764, at Amherst County. The Will was proved 21 July 1764. George Penn died testate in Caroline County, Virginia, in 1749. His Will was presented in Court for probate by his widow, Ann Penn, executrix. The Will itself is destroyed with most of the records of Caroline County, Virginia. Reference to the Will is in the surviving Court Order Books for Caroline County, Virginia. George Penn was about 50 years old when he died. Penn-217 and Penn-160 appear to represent the same person because: Same name, same wife, same death date
posted by Neal Parker
Penn-2231 and Penn-160 appear to represent the same person because: Clear duplicates. Birth years need to be resolved when merging. Based on George's acquisition of property in 1727, the about 1700 birth year is probably more accurate than the unsourced 1722 birth year.
George Penn Penn 160 should be merged with George Penn Penn 2231
