Grace was born in 1852 and baptised 23 May 1852, in Perranzabuloe, Cornwall, daughter of William Penna(farmer) & Frances, residing in Gear.[1] [2]

Grace was buried on 25 February 1918 at the age of 67 with her husband William Jacka, who died on 26 April 1907 at the age of 58 and their son William Thomas Jacka who died on 28 February 1911 at the age of 67.[7] Grace's last residential address was at 11 Beacon-terrace, Newquay, Cornwall.[8]
