I was born at Waihi Hospital on the 20th July, 1946, the third child of Joseph Trevor and Doris Eppie Pennell. My primary schooling was at Waihi South School. After one year at Waihi Intermediate we moved to Henderson and I went to Norval Road Primary for one year then on to Henderson High School where I passed School Certificate. I worked a variety of jobs; driving (for my father), TV technician, fitting and turning, service station, and security; from before I left school until age 70 when I retired. I always worked in Auckland apart from 2 years ('69-'71) in Sydney.

Hi Laurence,

Thank you for self-certifying for the Pre-1700 badge! Participation in a Pre-1700 Project is strongly encouraged for those wishing to edit Pre-1700 profiles. Collaboration is essential because pre-1700 ancestors are shared by many descendants.

It looks like the England would be a good fit based your current contributions to the WikiTree. Review the project page to learn about resources and guidelines as well as how to collaborate with the project members.

Do you have any questions? Let me know. I'm happy to help! :-)

Since you've been with WikiTree for a few weeks, I wanted to check in and see how you were doing. The New Member How-To's are available for you to look through if you would like. I hope you find them helpful. If you have any questions about how WikiTree works, don't hesitate to ask. Click on my name above and ask in the comment section of my page.

Hi Laurence,

Thanks for volunteering! You are now a full member of the WikiTree community, and can start adding your family. Let me know if you have any questions.

Since WikiTree is different from other genealogy sites, we have a guided tour for new members at New Member How-To. Feel free to work through the How-Tos at your own pace.

Once you add profiles to WikiTree they become searchable and in my experience persons interested in these profiles will contact you and may provide further information to expand your family tree.

Great to have you on board, enjoy, and good luck growing your branches.

Ludwig :)

PS If links do not work in an email from WikiTree, try them from the comment section of your profile page.
