Note: I have seen this name spelled "Clarandy" before. I'm not certain about the spelling of "Claminda" either. Still researching this. At this time, I'm strictly going by the 1870 Census.[1]

She was 15 at the time of the 1870 Census and born in Alabama.[2]
Timeline
1870 Census. Martin was living in Alabama with his spouse, Martha. Martin was 56 and b. in South Carolina and Martha was 45 and born in Alabama as were all eight children listed. The children were: Daniel, age 18; John T., age 16; Claminda, age 15; Aaron, age 13; Mary F., age 12, Amanda Q., age 10; Martha E., age 9 and Beady A., age 4.[3]
1880 Census. Martin age 67 was living with his spouse, Marthy age 55, in Lamar, Alabama along with children: Aron Pennington age 22; Mary Pennington age 20; Manda Pennington age 18; Emiline Pennington age 16; Bedy A. Pennington age 13; Clarendy Pennington Cronder age 26 and her son: Martin Cronder age 6. Everyone was born in Alabama except for Martin and he was born in SC.[4]
