Isaac married Sarah Ann Dyer (born in 1815 in Pendleton, Virginia; daughter of Zebulon Dyer and Rebecca (Waggoner) Dyer). Their children were:

Isaac died on January 12, 1847 in Washington, District of Columbia, USA, aged 41. He was buried in Woodbine Cemetery, Harrisonburg, Harrisonburg City, Virginia.[2]
