Robert Penrose was born in Yorkshire, England.

Robert Penrose was born in Elvington, Yorkshire, England in September 1632.^[1] He came into Ireland in 1656^[2] and married Anna Russell on 25 March 1669.^[3] They had at least three children. He died on County Wicklow on 10 November 1677.^[4]
