Elizabeth married George Commons when she was 17 on 26 October 1834 at St Agnes.[1] They had two daughters Elizabeth Sarah and Louisa Commons. George died at a young age (but I have been unable to find any record)
Elizabeth married William Davis at Truro 27 June 1842.[2]
Elizabeth and William had two daughters Matilda Jane and Hannah Davis in Cornwall.
Elizabeth and William set sail on board the Trafalgar in 1847 with the 4 young girls.
They arrived in Adelaide Australia where Maria Ellen was born, They sailed for Sydney on board the Catherine shortly after and in 1848 headed for Auckland on board the Maid of Erin arriving in March 1848. From Auckland they sailed to the Coromandel Peninsula where Mary Penrose Davies was born at Mercury Bay.
They then travelled to Kawau Island, to work in the copper mines and where their first son was born in 1851.
They then moved to Shoal Bay, Belmont, Auckland and purchased a 34 acre farm.
Elizabeth was born in 1817. She passed away in 1890.
