DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Benjamin by comparing test results with other carriers of his ancestors' Y-chromosome or mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Benjamin:
Penrose-344 and Penrose-78 do not represent the same person because: Different fathers, different birth date, different state born in. There are many Penrose's with the same first names but not related. My Benjamin comes from information from a family tree done by a family member and given to me. I doubt my information is wrong and that these two Benjamin's are one in the same people. I also doubt the mother is the right mother. Jesse Penrose was married to Sarah (Starr) Penrose, not Samuel Penrose. There is no Samuel Penrose in my family line that was married to a Sarah (Starr) Penrose. There is however a family in my line who had a son named Benjamin and a son named Samuel these two boys were Robert And Mary (Heacock) Penrose's sons. This family Robert and Mary dates back to the 1697. Robert And Mary (Heacock) Penrose are the parents of Jesse Penrose born 09/14/1755.
