Biography

Edmund Percival, Esq., son and heir of James Percival, Gent. by his wife Joan Kenne, married before 1547 Elizabeth Yorke, daughter of Roger Yorke by Eleanor Luttrell. ^[1] Edmund was born about 1506 "aged 30 in 1536". ^[1]

They had seven children: 3 sons (Andrew; Edmund; & Thomas) and 4 daughters (Margaret; Anne; Elizabeth; & Christian, wife of Richard Lowle, Gent.). ^[1] Edmund died in 1551, so he likely married Elizabeth Yorke some years before 1547, (they had time to have seven children).

Edmund was first married before 1530, to Isabel Marshal, daughter of John Marshall, by which marriage he had three children: one son, James, and two daughters, Eleanor (wife of William Rouse) and Joan (wife of Thomas Francis). ^[1]

Edmund Percival, Esq., died testate 21 Sept 1551. ^[1]
