Richardson's Magna Carta Ancestry, Vol IV, p 320: "Thomas West, K.G., K.B., 8th Lord la Warre...married (1st) Eleanor Percy, daughter of Henry Percy, Knt. . . . by Eleanor, daughter and heiress of Richard Poynings, Knt. [see PERCY 12]. They had no known issue."
