DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Richard by comparing test results with other carriers of his ancestors' Y-chromosome or mitochondrial DNA. However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line. It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Richard:

Thanks Michele for the followup; however, in my research, I discovered:

Husband of Sarah Burke John W Perdue was their son and Husband of Mary (Lingo) Perdue John Perdue was their son. I've also noticed this same trend with some of my other ancestor members. Perhaps each maternal branch chose to name the first born son after the father.

Perdue-446 and Perdue-445 do not represent the same person because: they loook like brothers.

Perdue-446 and Perdue-445 appear to represent the same person because: The chances of two brothers having the same name are pretty slim.
