Biography

Alt, Lucille Alice, age 94, Lincoln, died September 19, 2009 in Lincoln. Lucille was born June 24, 1915 on a farm near Roca to Bryon and Gaybelle (Siddens) Perkins. She graduated from Lincoln High School in 1934. She did housework until her marriage to Henry G. Alt on March 23, 1941.She loved being with family and friends, and loved to camp. Lucille and Henry were former members of the Conestoga’s, Southeast Golden Huskers, Good Sam’s Club, and Honey Bees Camping Clubs. She was a member of St. Luke United Methodist Church, Havelock Rebekah Lodge #150, Bryan Hospital board, Methodist Women, and Burlington Auxiliary. In her earlier years she worked at Kresge’s and Miller and Paine. She worked at the S&H Redemption Center retiring after 20 years. Lucille loved her flowers, garden, and did many hobbies over the years.

SURVIVORS Son: Eugene C. Alt, Aurora, CO Daughter & son-in-law: Karen and Dale Walkinshaw, Malcolm Grandchildren, spouses: Pam and Mike Bjerrum, Lincoln Mark Walkinshaw, Lincoln John and Amy Walkinshaw, Raymond 3 great grandchildren: Cole, Jordan, and Dillon Sister: Dorothy Maher, Greenwood Many nieces and nephews and cousins.

FUNERAL SERVICES 12:30 pm, Friday, Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home, 6800 South 14th Street, Lincoln with Rev. J. Daniel Safarik officiating. Visitation, Noon to 8 pm Thursday, 9 am until services Friday at the funeral home. Burial, Lincoln Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials in care of the family. Condolences may be left at lincolnfh.com.
