Richard Parkins was baptised 18 May 1626 in Stepney, Middlesex [1].
He is presumed to have died young, as a second son called Richard was baptised to this family in 1631.
This profile was originally entered as being Thomas, the son of Aden Perkins, born in 1633 in Bunny, Nottinghamshire.
There is no support for the existence of such a person.
There was a Thomas Perkins born in Bunny in 1639, son of Isham Perkins (Aden's nephew).
There was also an earlier Richard Perkins, son of Aden, who was born while they were in London and was not recorded in this family. In order to preserve the family connections, the original Thomas has been replaced as Richard, who did at least have some evidence as to his existence.
Should evidence to support the existence of Thomas be found, please revert this profile and add the appropriate sources.
