Biography

Andrew was born about 1836. He was the son of Hannah Perkins. At the present time, his father is unknown.

In 1850, he was in Perrysburg, Cattaraugus, New York living with the family of farmer James Cooper.[1]

Andrew Perkins married his cousin Esther Hugoboom sometime before 1860. They had four children.

Andrew and Esther were in the household of Alanson Dewey in Perrysburg in 1860, with Andrew listed as farm labor and Esther as a servant.[2]Andrew, Esther (listed as Hester), and their children were in Perrysburg in their own household in 1870.[3] His mother Hannah was also in the household.

His wife Esther passed away in 1874. In 1875, Andrew was listed on the Perrysburg, census with his children.[4]

Andrew was not in Perrysburg in 1880, but his children Addison, Minnie, and Gertie were living with Kitty Perkins, age 24, who may have been a second wife.[5]

He passed away before 1900.[6]
