Biography
Robert Perkins was born to John and Elizabeth Perkins, baptized in Ipswich August 25, 1728.[1]
He married first, Elizabeth Brown of Ipswich, daughter of Ipswich storekeeper, James Brown. They were published on April 6, 1753, and were married July 19, 1753.[2] [3]
Known children of Robert and Elizabeth were:[2]
- John, bp April 7, 1754; deceased
- Elizabeth, bp June 1, 1755; m Jos. Brown of Haverhill December 3, 1779
- James, removed to "Dammas Cotta" Maine
- Sarah
- Joseph, deceased before 1797
- John, bp September 26, 1761
- Robert, bp May 17, 1763
Elizabeth died December 4, 1763.[2]
Robert married second Sarah ________, before 1772 (date and place unknown).
Captain Robert Perkins died May 22, 1797 at Ipswich, Massachusetts.[4] He died intestate, and his estate was found to be insolvent.
