Biography

Birth

Augusta Perley was born about 1844, the daughter of Ulmer Perley and Lousia (Merrill) Perley; in 1860, she was living in their household at the age of 16,^[1] and in 1880, as Augusta Strickland, in their household as their daughter at the age of 35.^[2]

Marriage

Augusta Perley married Augustus H. Strickland.^[3] They had married by about 1865; their only known child, Samuel Strickland, was shown as 14 years old in the 1880 Census.^[2]

Death

No record has been found of the death of Augusta (Perley) Strickland.
