Biography

Birth

Cicero Rufus Perry was born on 25 August 1822 in Montgomery County, Alabama. He was the son of William Perry and Mary Shropshire.

Marriage

Rufus Perry married Margaret Ann Rousseau on 24 June 1845 in Bastrop County, Texas.

Cicero Rufus Perry died on 7 October 1898 in Hye, Blanco County, Texas[7]. He was laid to rest at Johnson City Masonic Cemetery in Johnson City, Blanco County, Texas[8][9]. His daughter Jennie Shipp applied for and received his Military Headstone in 1944[10]. He has 3 headstones in the same cemetery.

Thought you would want to know that Cicero's parents are reversed - his father is listed as his mother, and his mother is listed as his father. Same issue for his siblings.
