1880: Rufus was living with his wife and 3 children in Precinct 3, Blanco County, Texas[6]. He is listed as a farmer.
1887: CIcero R Perry applied for a Mexican War pension.
Death and Burial
Cicero Rufus Perry died on 7 October 1898 in Hye, Blanco County, Texas[7]. He was laid to rest at Johnson City Masonic Cemetery in Johnson City, Blanco County, Texas[8][9]. His daughter Jennie Shipp applied for and received his Military Headstone in 1944[10]. He has 3 headstones in the same cemetery.
