My personal recollections... My father married my mother on February 2, 1946, Ground Hog Day !!! (As I was told, since I wasn't around to witness the event). Later, I was born on February 3, 1949; a day after their anniversary. A good way to "break the ice" with strangers, leaving the uncertainty in their mind about the year.

I give credit to my Aunt Ethel, for starting the genealogy research on the Perry and other related lines.
