It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Ezekiel by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA.

You could be right. This profile was originally created by someone else, and orphaned. I have not done a lot of research on this Perry line at all. There are a couple of other Ezekiel Perry profiles that all need to be checked and sourced.
I think Sr is actually Jr, and Jr is III, and the first was married to Eason and the second married to Docton (who was a cousin), but these are just impressions and I haven't gone through all the sources. Births circa '37, '55 and '75.

However, the book also mentions an Ezekiel born about 1755 who was married to an Elizabeth. Perhaps these two are father and son and the birth dates need adjusting to reflect that.
Obviously there would be first cousins marrying, however in isolated, pioneer areas that could happen.
