At the age of 27 Edward married 20 year old Mary Williams (the daughter of Thomas Williams) on 25 January 1856 at the parish church in Carnmenellis, Cornwall, after Banns[2]. He was a Miner of Viskar; the witnesses were Thomas Williams and Peter Perry.
He was a widower when he married, secondly, Grace Welch Trebilcock (the daughter of Henry Trebilcock) on 23 November 1858 at St. Gluvias, Cornwall, after Banns[3]. The witnesses were John Thomas and John Perry.
In the 1861 England Census, Edward Perry (aged 33 and a Tin Miner) was recorded living with his wife Grace Welsh Perry (29) and their 3 month old son Edward Perry at Halwin, Wendron, Helston, Cornwall.
Sadly his wife Grace died on 20 April 1862 at about age 31.
Edward Perry (aged 44) was still recorded living at Halwin, Wendron, Helston, Cornwall in the 1871 England Census. Also in the household was his son Edward Perry (10) and his niece Martha Perry (aged 18).
His third marriage was probably to Mary Ann Stephens in 1876 in Cornwall[4].
