In his will, Hugh Perry of Kenty County bequeathed some personal property to James Donovan, and gave the rest of his estate to his son Samuel, with Edward Skidmore to be the administrator until the son came of age. The will was witnessed by Joseph Skidmore, Rebecca Skidmore and James Dunavin.[2] The accounting of Hugh Perry's estate includes includes a payment to Robert Devenish, helping to confirm that the High Perry who died in 176 was the Hugh Perry who married Elizabeth Devenish.[3]
