Biography

John was born in 1846, and he was baptised on 25 Dec 1846, at Creed, Cornwall, the son of John Perryman and Jane Harris.

In 1851, at the age of 4, John is living at Treganjohn, Creed, Cornwall, England, with his parents John age 30, Jane age 30, and his siblings Thomas age 7, Mary age 2 and William/Henry age 3 months. Also living with them is Johns grandmother Elizabeth Harris age 69.

In 1861, at age 15, John is living at Wrestling (?) Downs, St Austell, Cornwall, England, with his parents, John age 40, Jane age 40, and his siblings, Thomas age 18, Mary age 13, William age 11, Elizabeth age 8, Ann age 6, Edward age 4 and Harriett age 1.

On 4 Jan 1868, John married Jane Parsons at St Issey, Cornwall.

In 1871, at age 24, John is a Miner, living in the town of Downs, St Austell, Cornwall, England, with his wife Jane age 30, and their children Henry age 2 and Emily age 1.

John and Jane Perryman and their youngest son, John, are buried in the Oak Knoll Cemetery, in the Bunker Hill area of Amador City. Their graves are unmarked and are in the same plot as daughter Emily's first husband Edward Jeffery Sr. and their daughter Elizabeth who died when she was about 16.
