Biography

January 11, 1859 - William H. and Sarah H. bought and sold land to M.T. & Smitha A. (H.) Perryman in Henry Co, AL. Book H, page 81 & 82.

October 20, 1859 - Matthew (Adnes Sall) sold land to Thomas Chambers in Henry Co, AL. Book H, page 320.

July 26, 1860 - Listed in Woodville, Tyler Co, Texas Census as a farmer between Thomas Collier and H.A. Bingham. pg 60

The regiment was formed at Crockett, Texas in the winter of 1861-1862 with about 900 and included men from Centerville, Crockett and Madisonville. It was dismounted in the summer of 1862. It was assigned to O. Young's, Waul's brigade, Trans-Mississippi Department. It fought at Jenkins' Ferry, Ark. It disbanded in the spring of 1865.
