Biography

Anna Persdotter was born on February 24, 1740 in Smedstorp in Ramnäs parish, Västmanland, Sweden. She was the daughter of Per Andersson and his wife Karin (Cajsa) Persdotter.

Anna married Johan Bergström 1768. They had 10 children: 4 sons and six daughters: Anna b. 1764, a stillborn daughter 1767, Petter (1768-1768), Cajsa b. 1769, Jan b. 1771, Maja (1774-1774), Stina (1776-1777), Erik (1778-1778), Sara (1780-1781) and Greta b. 1783. At least five of them died as infants.

Anna passed away 64 years old of "vattusot", on June 30, 1804 in Seglingbo in Ramnäs. She was buried on July 3, 1804.
