Anna was born in 1884. She passed away in 1919 from complications of child birth.

Anna embarked from Gothenburg, Sweden, with her parents and uncle on the ship Ariosto on 17 November 1893. They embarked from Hull, England, on the ship Labrador, which landed in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada, on 1 Dec 1893, then headed for Portland, Maine, USA. From there they took train to Moscow, Idaho, and proceeded to her uncle Pete Hjortman's home in the village of Nora, outside Troy, Latah, Idaho.
