Biography

The talented songwriter and vocalist grew up in an environment strongly influenced by music. Aubrey’s father, to keep three young boys out of trouble while on family trips, would sing the songs of his favorite country artist, Hank Williams. His mother, who loved Elvis, would turn on the radio and also encourage her sons to sing. Entertaining audiences all through highschool, along with his twin brother, Aubrey sang every chance he got. From local television shows, to the Oklahoma Opry, the two were a powerful duet and successful stage act. After graduation, Aubrey enrolled and attended Oklahoma City University, majoring in Vocal Performance. He began performing in college Opera’s and Musicals, and acted in lead roles at local Community Theaters. His strength in music grew as he developed his talents by singing lead vocal in Country Rock and Top 40 Bands, and as an entertainer with Opryland on the Road. After college Aubrey made the next logical move, to Nashville, getting into the business side of music for most of the 12 years he lived there. He went on the road for two years with Pearl River, as stage manager. Worked with Alan Jackson’s management company, and finally as a Song Plugger on Music Row. While still pursuing his own music career, Aubrey shared the stage, and shared guitars, with such artists as Garth Brooks, Guy Clark, Vern Gosdin, Bryan White, Pearl River, Toby Keith, and Reece Wilson, just to name a few. With vision and simplicity, this sensitive young man reached into his soul, and found a love of writing. Aubrey honed his songwriting skills by writing with, and learning from, some of the most well known names in Country Music Arriving back in Texas, in 1997, Aubrey has come full circle to where it all began for him. Finding the Texas music scene alive with promise for original singer/songwriters, he has established himself firmly into the Texas Music scene.

Aubrey was born in 1960. Aubrey Teeter ... [1]

Hi again,

I sent you a message a couple of weeks ago on behalf of the Germany Project and have not yet heard back from you. I hope you are well!

If I don’t hear back from you by the end of April, I will assume you no longer wish to be a member of the Germany Project and I’ll go ahead and remove you from our member roster. You are, of course, welcome to rejoin at any time via our G2G sign-up post.

Best wishes,

Traci ~ Germany Project co-leader

Hello, I apologize for the delay but had me tied up quite a bit.

I had joined in hopes to find some more about my German side in which my last name comes from, Teeter which was Dieter at some point. The family is unable to find the how he came over to confirm it. Unfortunately, due to work I am unable to help out. We are coming into Christmas time and I am working retail. Please forgive me. Have a Grand Ol day Aubrey Teeter

Hello Aubrey, the England Project has changed the way that "Category:England Project" is used. Previously it identified England Project Members, now it is a category for the England Project Free Space Pages and admin pages.

I would therefore be very grateful if you would remove "Category:England Project" from your personal profile. Please contact me if you have any questions about this.

Many thanks, Jo, England Project Leader

Ciao! This is just a general check-in for members of the Italy project. I am checking to see who is still interested in being a member of the project as we go through some much needed restructuring. I was also wondering what teams you would like to be on. We’ve created teams for each part of Italy. North, South, Islands etc. They will be explained further in an upcoming g2g post. Stay tuned. For now, please let me know if you are still interested in the project and if you’d like to be a member of a team.

Ciao Chris,

It's my wife's family who are from Corleone, Sicily, Italy. So I assume Sicily would be a start. One side of her familia, Esposito, we don't have much at all.

Ok I don't know how much time I can devote to this project but thought I could find out more about her familia.

Hey, Aubrey! I'll add you to the Islands team. The best thing to do right now is to keep adding people from that area and source it up as best you can. That's all we ask!

Ciao!

Hi Aubrey,

I haven’t heard back from you about the break up of the United Kingdom Project. I hope all is well with you. I assume you don’t wish to join any of the country-level projects at present, and will go ahead and remove the United Kingdom badge. If you wish to join England, Scotland, Wales or Ireland in the future, you would be most welcome to do so via the respective G2G sign-up post.

Many thanks for all your contributions,

Susie :-)

Hi Aubrey,

It has been a couple of weeks since we contacted you about your participation in the Southern Colonies Project. As we haven't heard from you, we are following up to make sure you wish to remain a member.

We understand that interests shift as we grow our shared tree and that some members may have moved on to projects more pertinent to their ancestors. If this is the case for you, please let us know.

If we do not hear back from you within the week, we will assume you have moved on to other things for the moment and remove you from the project. Please know that you will always be welcome to rejoin should your interests shift back in this direction.

Thank you so much for your participation; we genuinely appreciate it.

On behalf of the US Southern Colonies Project Leaders, I am doing a six-month check-in with members to see if you were Active in US Southern Colonies?

1) Have you joined other Southern Colonies Subprojects, such as Southern_Pioneers Project. Or other projects?

2) Your activity in Southern Pioneers Project. Do you want to retain the Southern Colonies badge?

I look forward to hearing from you.

Hi Aubrey,

We realise the time has come to dissolve the UK Project in favour of the individual country projects of England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland.

We are checking in with all UK badge holders to find out which country project(s) you would like to be in so you can collaborate with other members, have the opportunity to select which team(s) you would like to join, and so we can ensure you have all the correct badges.

Please respond by PM to let us know which country project(s) you would like to be in. Please don’t assume we know. We are effectively starting from scratch to make sure no one falls through the cracks.

Once you have done this, the Coordinator for Membership in the relevant country project(s) will be in touch to help get you situated.

Many thanks,

Susie

Hi Aubrey

I’m the new Project Coordinator for the England Project. I am contacting you, as there have been some recent changes to the project which we are keen to bring to your attention. Please look at the England Project page for more information on the changes and the ways members are able to actively contribute moving forward. Once you have considered how you would like to participate, please contact either myself or Susie to let us know. We can then list your involvement, help you join the Google group forum for England, and give you any other help you may need to get going. If we don’t hear back from you we’ll assume you do not wish to be a part of the England Project for the time being. We really hope you will join the team! Gillian

Hi Aubrey,

I saw on G2G that you like me are a descendant of a Regulator. Check out the Category War of Regulation and add it to the profile of your ancestor.
