Olof Persson was born at the soldier's croft in Alby, Esterna in 1799.[1]
He worked as a farm hand in many different places in Uppland, before he married and became a crofter. He was married twice, both wives were named Anna Cajsa Persdotter.
Olof Persson and the first Anna Cajsa Persdotter both served at a big farm in Lundby.[2] They married 22 October 1825.[3]
Then they went to work at Lövsätra in Vallentuna.[4] They had two daughters in Vallentuna and then moved to Frösunda in 1828.[5] His wife died there in November 1828.[6]
Crofter Olof Persson in the grounds of Strömmen married Anna Cajsa Persdotter from Fogelsunda 13 November 1831.[7] They lived in Nybygget in Orkesta parish.[8][9][10]
He must have worked hard and had some luck to boot, because he was able to buy into a small self-owned farm in 1856, at Mälhamra in Närtuna,[11] where he lived until his death in 1872.[12][13]
