Karl Frederik Persson was born on February 27, 1865 at Bondbyn in Nora bergsförsamling, Örebro, Sweden. He was baptized on March 12th in Nora bergsförsamling.[1] Karl Frederik was a son of Peter Persson and Brita Maria Andersdotter. He lived with his family in Bondbyn through 1883.[2][3] He moved to Söderfors in Uppsala on July 6, 1885.[4][5][6] Later in 1885, he moved to Gullöfors in Trollhättan, Älvsborg. He worked as a laborer.[7][8]
Karl married Karolina Eriksson on May 30, 1887 in Nora bergsförsamling, Örebro, Sweden.[9] After the wedding, they lived at Gullöfors in Trollhättan, Älvsborg, Sweden. He started using the name Bäck instead of Persson or Petersson. He continued to work as a laborer.[10][11][12][13][14] Their children:
