Son of Casper Peter and Anna Elisabeh Rockel Born in Heidelberg Twp., Northampton Co.(Now Lehigh), PA. Died in Hollenback Twp., Luzerne Co., PA. Married Elizabeth Andres (Andreas). Children: Susanna, Mary, John, Salome, Elizabeth, Catharine, Thomas, Maria Anna, David, Maria Magdalena, and Jonas. John and his Wife Elizabeth were among the first settlers of the Wapwallopen area. The move here from Heidelberg Twp. in what is now Lehigh County, PA in about 1818.
