Peter was the son of Peter Peters and Agatha Neufeld.
He married Susanna Warkentin at Fabrikerwiese, Molotschna, South Russia on May 10, 1886 and had 13 children. After Susanna's death in 1923, he remarried to Anna Unger.
Peter and family immigrated to Canada aboard the S S Montrose, arriving at Saint John, New Brunswick on December 27, 1925.[1]
