Biography

Henry was born about 1913. He is the son of Peter Peters and Margaretha DeFehr.

Obituary

    CHINOOK - Peters, Henry J., 74, died Thursday in a Havre hospital. Service 2 p.m. Thursday at the Edwards Funeral Chapel; burial in Kuper Memorial Cemetery; burial in Kuper Memorial Cemetery. Born in Corn, Okla., moved to Montana with family to homestead north of Chinook. Moved to Chinook in 1937 and married Rose Fi[sc]her in 1939 there. Worked for Buttrey Foods and the local sugar factory in Chinook. WOrked as boler operator for Havre radar station, retiring in 1976. Survivors: his wife; daughters, Rita Ash of Lucasville, Ohio, and Lilyan Hale of Portsmouth, Ohio; brother,Jake of Mesa, Ariz.; sisters, Margaret Jantzen of Oregon, Elizabeth Funk of Chinook, Ann Schroeder of Chinook and Agnes Neufeld of Phoenix, Ariz.
