Peter Peters and his wife Ellen immigrated to the Colony of New South Wales in 1841 on the Burhampooter. Arriving at Sydney on the 6th of August 1841, but not disembarking until the following day. Note: It is believed that on this same voyage was Peter's sister Ann and her husband George Metcalf.
