Mahulda was born about 1825.
In the 1850 U. S. Census (31 October 1850) [1] , [2] Green J. Sorrell and Huldah Peters Sorrell lived in Chambers County, Alabama. They must have moved there in about 1848 since their two year old child was born in Alabama. Green, age 14, and Nathan Riley, age 12 were the children of Green J. and his first wife. The children of Huldah were John W., age 8; Sarah, age 6; Matthew age 4; and Zachariah age 2.
She passed away about 1855.
