Elsie was born May 5, 1935 the daughter of Joe "Doc" and Fannie Alice Jones Peters.
She married Freddie Cox on April 11, 1958 in Bristol, Virginia. It was the second marriage for both Fred and Elsie.
She passed away on July 12, 2000 and is buried in the Mountain Home National Cemetery in Johnson City, Tennessee.
