Biography
1897 Born in Bucca, Queensland. Madeline was the youngest of 11 children, born to Thomas, a Dane, and Bridget, from Ireland[1]
She nursed her mother thru dementia for a lengthy time
1955 When Madeline was 58, she and Matijk were marred in Sydney[2]. He took her surname and was known as Michael Petersen. They settled in the Blue Mountains.
1969 Died in the Blue Mountains, aged 71[3]
