Biography: The marriage certificate of Annie Margaret records her father as Andrew Petersen, Labourer, Mangatainoka. Andrew's Danish name may well have been Andreas, but there are no records of an Andreas Petersen around Pahiatua.
The electoral rolls record Andrew Petersen as a bushman at Pahiatua in 1890 and then as a Labourer, Pongoroa, 1896, 1900, 1905-06, and 1911. By 1911, Marie is recorded as a widow, so maybe he died around then but have found no record.
In 1902, an Andrew Petersen from Pongoroa, was convicted of stealing cattle. [1]
