Clare R. Petersen, daughter of John Johaneses and Methea (Schmidt) Petersen, was born on 29 March 1910 in Washington.[1] She appeared on the census of 7 Jan. 1920 in the home of her parents at Tacoma, Pierce, Washington.[2]
She married Robert LeRoy Knapp, son of LeRoy Knapp and Georgia (Bell) Knapp, on 12 Sep. 1928 at Pierce, Washington.[3]
