Anna Margaret or Margrethe Petersen Biography: According to the marriage certificate, Annie and Alfred were married in the home of William Graham and Mary Graham Smeaton, at Mangatainoka. The marriage certificate also gives her mother's name as Johanna Mary Petersen, nee Pedersen, and her father as Andrew Petersen, Labourer, Mangatainoka.
The marriage certificate also reveals that she was 26 when married in 1896 and was born in Denmark.
