Obituary November 28, 1991, at the Logan Regional Hospital. She was born March 8, 1922, at Bench, Idaho, a daughter of Nephi and Ida Melissa Hubbard Peterson. She married Thomas Delroy Panter April 2, 1941, at Soda Springs. Mrs. Panter passed away December 2, 1950. She was raised and educated in the Grace schools, and also lived in Haines, Ketchikan, and Anchorage, Alaska, returning to Utah and Idaho, where she had lived for the past several years. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She enjoyed sewing, fishing, and the outdoors. She is survived by two sons and two daughters, Phillip Delroy Panter, Palmer, Alaska; James Vincent Shand, Orange Park, Florida; Mrs. Lawrence (Linda) Mickelson of Grace; and Mary Ann Lee, Anchorage, Alaska; also 23 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; three brothers and two sisters, Wendell Peterson, Logan, Utah; Merlin Peterson, Grace; Kay Peterson, Rupert; and Natalia Burton of Grace; and Ila Holsten, Tempe, Arizona. She was preceded in death by one son, Tony Charles Panter, and two grandchildren, Julie Ann Mickelson and Lawrence Dean Mickelson. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday December 3 at 1pm at the Williams LDS Ward Chapel, with Bishop Frank Swenson officiating. Friends may call at the Allen-Sims Funeral Home in Soda Springs this evening from 7-8pm, and on Tuesday at the Williams Ward Chapel from 1130am-1245pm. Burial will be in the Grace Cemetery. Services are under the direction of the Allen-Sims Funeral Home.^[9]
